just came in the mail.

Microsoft competition folks just sent this cert, along with a thank you email. Coolio.

Around the time I got my Microsoft MVP award, I got a email asking if I would like to participate in these Imagine Cup judging competitions. I immediately said yes and they sent me a bunch of competitions to judge and I submitted the scores well ahead of the deadline.

I was only MVP for year. However, the judging emails and other Microsoft connections remained. Every year, I get an email (and it’s the same guy all these years, which is sort of cool) to judge and I do it. They always send a thank you email.

And, this year, they even sent a cert. Which is cool. I am on a tear lately, collecting plenty of certificates for my ongoing plan to return to academia. So every certificate goes to bouquet of certs.

This is a volunteer task, of course. I like doing this and it makes me happy. Social utility of doing this, as we say in economics, is very high. I am a full time tutor, so, it has professional advantages as well. I like it, and I hope I will keep getting invited every for the judging things.

Hire me at UpWork or Fiverr or codementor or GitHub. more about me on my personal profile, and also on my personal website.
